Consulting, Designing, and Delivering Automation Solutions for Small Businesses
June 1988, two years into her career at the National Security Agency, Ellen began working on a classified project meant to provide a backup to our government’s “secure phone systems”, which had been identified as a single point of failure during a time of war. Should our secure phones, necessary for communications between the White House, military, and various government agencies be attacked and taken down, the U.S. government would still have the capability to communicate with this new development. Thus began her first experience with Internet development and the birth of the World Wide Web.
Over the years, Ellen has worked on projects ranging from large scale corporate infrastructures in the Chief Information Office (CIO), to smaller projects such as a software developer, advancing the internet infrastructure, and network monitoring capabilities or as an authorized hacker to expose security design flaws in newly developed systems prior to deployment. It’s been a fun ride.
Today, as owner of Peak Technology Solutions, Ellen enjoys working with small businesses, consulting, creating and implementing marketing and business process automation solutions to help them grow efficiently, and to give the small business owner peace of mind and rest.
